The Arca Series 500 PRDS Steam Conditioning Valve is a Pressure Reducing and Desuperheating Valve, also known as a steam conditioning station. It is a specialised control valve for the reduction of the steam pressure, regulation of the steam volume as well as for steam temperature cooling. Characteristics for the control and regulation of pressure and quantity of this steam conditioning station is multi-stage pressure reduction and sub-critical pressure relief. The integrated steam cooling operates separately and independent of the steam pressure and volume control. The Arca Series 590 injection desuperheater can form part of the pressure reduction housing or can be installed downstream of the pressure reducing valve.
