The Richter RMI and RMA medium duty sealless magnetic drive pumps are fully lined and have proven themselves in the harshest applications in the chemical process industry. They offer outstanding performance on corrosive, solids-laden and high-purity media. The thick walled pure PFA and PTFE fluoropolymer lining is anchored to the armouring and is vacuum resistant absorbing system pressure and pipe forces eliminating the need for expansion joints. The various features ensure minimum life cycle costs and ease of maintenance.
The Richter RMI and RMA series were developed
- for use with media where stainless steel and conventional polymers such as PE, PP etc. do not have sufficient corrosion resistance.
- as an alternative to
- pumps made of expensive long-lead-time metals (Alloy C, titanium, nickel, etc.)
- mechanical seal pumps.
- full polymer pumps.
- metal pumps with double mechanical seals and liquid sealing or quenching systems and stainless steel magnetic drive pumps
The handling of highly corrosive, high-purity or environmentally critical fluids calls for truly reliable and safe pumps without compromises on quality, material and efficiency. The RMI and RMA series excel through pure PFA lining that give a perfect quality lining with even lining thickness well above ETFE and PVDF. The optional SAFEGLIDE® PLUS optimises dry running capabilities, as a result dry-running is possible for 30-60 minutes. The proprietary surface impregnation is extremely wear and chemical-resistant that has been supplied with more than 20,000 Richter pumps.
