The SHP leak off valve also known as an automatic recirculation valve is designed to provide pump protection for high pressure high value pumps within Eskom power stations. Damage can occur when the flow rate falls below the required minimum. The innovative design ensures that these pumps are reliably protected, even in situations involving highly fluctuating pump loads and long periods of operation under extreme partial load conditions. This is achieved using a special fully automatic minimum flow control system that ensures that flows never fall below the required minimum as specified by the pump manufacturer. Full repair and reconditioning facilities are available at our Vereeniging and Durban branches.
